The Sacred Heart Chapel at Clonmore was built in 1834 as a stone chapel, it was originally dedicated to St. Columba before being dedicated to the Sacred Heart in the mid-1940s.
Stapehill Abbey Convent in Dorset, founded in 1802 by French Cistercian Trappist nuns fleeing the French Revolution, was a silent convent for nearly 200 years until its closure in 1990.

St Johns Primary School, Moy - opened by 'Old' Canon Coyne in 1857. (Master Carson and class of 1963)
Known locally as "Master Carson," he taught for many years and, alongside his late wife May, is remembered for guiding generations of children in the Moy area. He was the first principal of St. John’s Primary School, opening the new school in 1965 and leading it for 26 years until his retirement in 1989. Bertie Carson died at Nazareth Care Home in Belfast on 27 Feb. 2026 at the age of 100, having celebrated his centennial birthday in Jan. 2026.
